Come Again?

It's not like we men need another reason to have orgasms as many times a week as possible, but we'll certainly take one when it's offered. And here it is. An Australian study has shown that frequent masturbation may prevent cancer. (And here you thought you were only doing it for fun!)

In a study of 2000 men aged 40 to 69, researchers found that men who had ejaculated five times a week or more during their 20s, 30s, and 40s were a third less likely to develop prostate cancer. The theory is that frequent ejaculation keeps sperm from building up in a man's tubes. The idea seems to be that sperm gets concentrated to the point where it is so full of chemicals that you don't want it hanging around where it could become carcinogenic.

I trust all of you can meet that five times a week minimum. And I'm sure your partners would love to help safeguard your prostate's future. Remember, in spite of how the story was originally reported in the press, benefits are not just from masturbation. Any orgasm that results in goo will do. Flush that plumbing! Doctor's orders.

  • Thanks, Melissa. I’m very happy you like the site. And thanks again for the link!

The Photo of the Day comes from whatever I’ve grabbed on Usenet, various sites, etc., and still have on my hard drive. More often than not, I do lots of cropping and tinkering in Photoshop to get a photo and thumbnail I like. I also find I’m being selective about what I’m showing, tending away from peroxide blondes with implants and going more with “real looking” people—women with tummies, inverted nipples, forearm hair, big butts or breasts, hardly any butts or breasts, and so on. It didn’t start out as a philosophy, but it’s grown into one as I do more batches of photos to put up.

As I was telling Jen a couple of weeks ago, I’m feeling guilty for putting up photos without at least attempting to link back to sites when I know where the photos originally came from. So I’m trying to figure out a way to automatically generate links at the same time I automatically put up a new photo each day. On the other hand, often times I just don’t know the original source.
